Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using DJ Assist, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.
What DJ Assist does
DJ Assist is a music library and DJ preparation tool. It can import, organize, analyze, and play music from local folders and connected third-party storage services.
Your responsibilities
- Use the app only for lawful purposes.
- Only import or access music and files you own or are authorized to use.
- Keep your account credentials and device secure.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, abuse, overload, or disrupt the service or app.
- Do not use the app in a way that violates the terms of any third-party service you connect.
Cloud services
If you connect a third-party service, you authorize DJ Assist to access that service on your behalf only for the features you choose to use, such as browsing folders, importing tracks, or refreshing metadata.
You are responsible for complying with the terms and policies of any third-party service you connect.
Content and data
You keep ownership of your content. You grant DJ Assist the limited rights necessary to process your content locally and, when you choose, to sync it with connected services. DJ Assist may cache files and metadata on your device to provide core functionality.
Intellectual property
DJ Assist, its design, code, branding, and website content are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy or redistribute them except as allowed by law or with written permission.
Disclaimers
DJ Assist is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every file, device, or third-party service.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DJ Assist and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from your use of the app.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the app or website if you misuse it, violate these terms, or if needed to protect the service, users, or third-party systems.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
