Information we collect
DJ Assist may collect or process the following types of information:
- Account information you provide when you connect a supported third-party service, such as an account identifier and authorization tokens needed to access the integration.
- Music library data, including track names, artist names, album names, file names, folder paths, metadata, tags, BPM, key, and cover art references.
- Files and media content you choose to import, scan, or analyze through the app.
- Operational data such as app logs, error reports, scan progress, and diagnostic information.
- Basic website information such as your browser request, if you visit the public website.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Import, organize, analyze, and play your music.
- Show track details, album art, playlists, and library views.
- Sync or refresh data from connected services you choose to connect.
- Diagnose bugs, improve reliability, and support the app.
- Respond to support requests and maintain security.
How information is stored
DJ Assist is designed to operate primarily on your device. Music files, library data, and cache files may be stored locally on your computer so the app can work offline and load faster.
If you connect a third-party storage or account service, the app stores the minimum authentication data needed to access that service and may cache files locally for playback, analysis, or artwork processing.
Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information only in these situations:
- With third-party services when you choose to connect them and import files.
- With service providers that help us host the public site or support the app, if any are used.
- When required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or security of DJ Assist or its users.
Data retention
We keep data only as long as needed to provide the app, maintain your library, support your use of the connected services, or comply with legal obligations. You can remove local app data by uninstalling the app and deleting its local cache and database files.
Your choices
- You can disconnect connected services at any time.
- You can delete local files, cache, and library data stored by the app.
- You can contact us to ask about access, correction, or deletion requests where applicable.
Children’s privacy
DJ Assist is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
